Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Game Pass scheme will also allow day one exclusives access on PC.
Yesterday the gaming heavyweight announced that Xbox Game Pass will now allow players to access brand new exclusives like Sea of Thieves on release. The update to the service has now been confirmed to apply to PC subscribers as well.
Head of Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg confirmed the service would roll out on PC when replying to a fan query on Twitter.
Yes if the title is Xbox Play Anywhere you can play the PC version too if you are a Game Pass member.

This is excellent news for PC gamers, but also sounds like Game Pass members could swap between Xbox and PC with access to both versions, though save data may not be shared. Either way, the service will now offer fantastic value for money, allowing you to access brand new titles for a smaller monthly cost.
