Destiny 2's development roadmap marks pitstops before Season 3 in May

As part of Bungie's attempt to improve on communication, we get to see everything coming.

Yesterday Bungie posted a development update for Destiny 2, outlining new mechanics and content coming to the somewhat beleaguered online shooter.

With that update out the door, and downloads already appearing in people's games for Armor Masterworks and new Raid balancing tweaks, Destiny 2's game director Christopher Barrett wanted to lay out the path ahead for guardians who stay the course.

The roadmap outlines two more major updates for Season 2, taking place on February 27 and March 27, before a new season of content (Season 3) arrives in May with the 1.2.0 patch.

This is the most comprehensive outline of future commitment we've seen from the often enigmatic developer, or from any other game-as-service studio out there with the possible exception of Riot Games. Here's the full list of what to expect from each update throughout Season 2 and beyond.

There'll be morre information on what some of these changes mean, but a lot of these are features requested loudly by the community, so there should be a shipful of goodwill on its way to Bungie HQ right about now.
