Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition Gets Early Mobile Release

The game can be played on both iOS and Android.

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition officially released today for mobile devices alongside a brand new launch trailer. The game is available on both iOS and Android, with the price point varying between each different chapter.

Chapter 1 is available for free, chapters 2 and 3 cost 99 cents each, and chapters 4 through 10 will set you back a grand total of $3.99 a piece. To make things a bit easier, a bundle package containing all 10 chapters is currently available for $19.99.

To give you a better idea as to what you can expect from Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, a new launch trailer was uploaded to the official Final Fantasy XV YouTube.

Upon watching the trailer, one thing fans will notice is that the art style from the game’s console counterpart has been simplified for mobile.

All of the characters in Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition – which include Noctis, Ignis, Gladio, and Prompto – sport a cute cartoon aesthetic reminiscent of “chibi” anime characters.

Additionally, the game features casual touch controls optimized for mobile play. To dive in and experience the game for yourself, be sure to download the first chapter of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition for free on iOS and Android!
