Horizon Zero Dawn producer joins Ubisoft on unannounced project

Samrat Sharma is exiting Guerrilla Games to serve as Senior Producer at Ubisoft Toronto.

Samrat Sharma, former Senior Producer at Guerrilla Games, has officially left the company to work at Ubisoft’s Toronto studio. At the studio, he’ll serve as Senior Producer on a new, unannounced project.

Aside from his work on Horizon Zero Dawn, Sharma has previously worked at companies including Electronic Arts, Microsoft, and yes, even Ubisoft. Addressing his move to Ubisoft Toronto, Sharma stated:

“I am excited to join the team at Ubisoft Toronto who are working on some very interesting games, and offer me a chance to continue my focus on leading teams and plan franchise businesses. I will miss Guerrilla and the amazingly talented people in the studio, and I wish them all the best for their next projects.”

While there’s currently no information on Ubisoft Toronto’s upcoming project, the studio is known for their work on games like Far Cry 5, Far Cry Primal, For Honor, and Watch Dogs 2, among others. With Sharma serving as Senior Producer, Ubisoft Toronto’s next project will certainly be one to keep an eye out for.
