Super Smash Bros. confirmed for Nintendo Switch this year

Nintendo Direct ends with tease of Smash for Switch in 2018.

Super Smash Bros. has been confirmed as coming to Nintendo Switch this year in the latest Nintendo Direct.

The announcement teaser came at the end of a lengthy and packed Direct full of announcements for other games and details about a Dark Souls Amiibo. (Still not over it.)

There's nothing else to tell at this stage other than the name Super Smash Bros. and the year 2018. Some silhouetted figures appeared after the game's logo reflected in a squid/kid's eye which suggest it may contain the version of Link from Breath of the Wild.

If that's the case, potentially this is a new game rather than a port. We'll be happy with either.
