Sony has finally confirmed the roster of free downloadable games that will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of September, and the list includes several indie games of various prominences. First up is ThatGameCompany’s 2012 indie classic Journey.
Since its cross-play compatible on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, you’ll be able to play it as long as you own at least one of the two consoles in question. If you have a PlayStation 3, you’ll also be able to download and play the surreal indie adventure game Datura.
Finally, whether you have a PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, or a PlayStation Vita, you’ll be able to grab Frogmind’s indie platformer Badland. PlayStation Vita owners will also be able to add Idea Factory’s title Amnesia: Memories to their PS Plus libraries. If you’re interested in non-indie titles, September’s PlayStation Plus offerings will also include Deck13 Interactive’s grim RPG Lords of the Fallen for PlayStation 4 and Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for PlayStation 3.
All of the above games will be rotated into the current lineup of free PlayStation Plus games starting next Tuesday, September 6th, which means that subscribers who haven’t yet grabbed August’s free PlayStation Plus games still have a few more days to do so.
