Giant Squid and 505 Games have announced that their hit underwater adventure game, Abzu, will be getting a full retail release early next year—including an inaugural release on the Xbox One. According to a press release from 505 Games, the retail version of Abzu will launch sometime in January of 2017 at a $19.99 price point.
Abzu’s retail release will be available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, marking the first time the game will be available on the Xbox One platform. Currently, Abzu is available as a digital download for both PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The retail versions of Abzu will also include an exclusive dynamic theme on PlayStation 4 and an exclusive background for Xbox One.
