Yacht Club Games is teaming up with Brave Wave Productions to bring the soundtrack of its 2014 indie darling Shovel Knight to not one, but two different physical audio formats—compact disc and vinyl.
The upcoming release (expected release date is November 15th) is being billed as Shovel Knight: The Definitive Soundtrack and is available for pre-order as either a 2-disc CD set from
Both versions include a poster featuring custom artwork from famed illustrator Hitoshi Ariga (whose previous accolades include the Mega Man and Pokemon series), though if you want to take the Shovel Knight tunes on the go with you, the CD version might be better as it also includes free unlimited streaming of the soundtrack via the BandCamp mobile app in addition to free downloads of the soundtrack’s digital version.
