Crypt of the Necrodancer Gets New DLC

Crypt of the Necrodancer recently received a new DLC release entitled “AMPLFIED” which adds in several new key features to the game. Up for grabs on Steam for $6.99, Crypt of the Necrodancer: AMPLIFIED has already received a slew of positive responses from fans. Which makes sense, considering just how much new content AMPLIFIED added to a game already rich in content.

Key features added in the new DLC include:

• A new zone full of nefarious new enemies.
• A powerful new vampiric protagonist: Nocturna. (Who can transform into a bat).
• New weapons, armor, and other loot.
• Pet-like “familiars” that stay by your side and help you fight.
• A new story cutscene.
• A new boss battle.
• Over 20 new tracks, including vocals from Mega Ran as FortissiMole.
• New playable OST remix of the entire game created by OverClocked ReMix.
• Additional DLC remixes for Zone 5 from FamilyJules, A_Rival, Virt, and Girlfriend Records.

Seeing as how Crypt of the Necrodancer has yet to emerge from Early Access, the DLC effectively reassures players that additional content for the game is still on the way. Expect to see more characters, gameplay modes, items, story cutscenes, and localizations, make their way into the game later on this year.
