Yooka-Laylee: All 10 Treasure Chests in Shipwreck Creek

In Yooka-Laylee, there are various Treasure Chests scattered around the first map, Shipwreck Creek, that contain Quills. Quills can be used as a sort of currency, and depending on how many you collect, you can trade them in to Trowzer to learn a new move. In Shipwreck Creek, Trowzer promises to tell Yooka and Laylee where the Golden Book flew off to... for a price. 

After some small talk, Trowzer asks you to bring him 5 Quills in exchange for information. To gather Quills for him, Trowzer then teaches Yooka and Laylee a move that can break open Treasure Chests. While you may be tempted to race back to Trowzer once you've collected the 5 Quills, there are actually 10 Quills in total that you can collect.

Below, we'll show you where to find all 10 Treasure Chests in Yooka-Laylee's Shipwreck Creek map! 

Treasure Chest #1 

The first Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee can be found to the right of Trowzer. Here, you'll have an opportunity to use the move you just learned to open the Treasure Chest and retrieve the Quill inside. 

Treasure Chest #2

The second Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee can be found on the planks leading up to large ship dubbed the "Bat Ship Crazy." 

Treasure Chest #3

You'll find the third Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee at the very top of the Bat Ship Crazy.

Treasure Chest #4 

You'll find the fourth Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee underneath the broken ramp that you currently cannot climb.

Treasure Chest #5

To find the fifth Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee, head to your right after gathering the fourth Treasure Chest. You'll find the fifth Treasure Chest near a patch of pretty red and yellow flowers. 

Treasure Chest #6

You'll find the sixth Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee to the right of a river near the colorful butterfly cage. 

Treasure Chest #7

To find the seventh Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee, you'll need to find the ramp that leads up to the talking canon. Head past the Bat Ship Crazy and follow the rock wall on your right. At the end, you'll find a small earthen ramp which you can use to reach the seventh Treasure Chest. 

Treasure Chest #8

To find the eighth Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee, head back down the ramp and turn left. You'll find the eighth Treasure Chest near a tree and another ramp that leads down to a lower level of the map. For reference, you can view Trowzer the Snake from the location of the eighth Treasure Chest. 

Treasure Chest #9

The ninth Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee can be found after descending down the ramp near the eighth Treasure Chest. Proceed along the wooden pathways until you come across the ninth Treasure Chest. Collect it and continue down the path straight in front of you in order to collect the last Treasure Chest. 

Treasure Chest #10

The tenth Treasure Chest in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee is at the very end of the path you used to find the ninth Treasure Chest. After proceeding forward, the path will end at an area facing the Bat Ship Crazy (towards the left of Trowzer's post). Collect the tenth Treasure Chest and head back over to talk to Trowzer. 

Congratulations, you've found all ten Treasure Chests and Quills in the Shipwreck Creek level of Yooka-Laylee!
