PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Zombies Mode Announced

The hit battle royale game is getting a new zombies mode prior to its Xbox One release.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has received two exciting announcements following E3 2017 including an upcoming Xbox One release, and the addition of a new zombies mode.

The latest mode sees player-controlled zombies on hunting down uninfected players, and will be separate from the base game according to the developer. As of right now, there's no word yet on when this new mode will be introduced. However, you can catch a quick glimpse of the zombies mode in a preview uploaded to the Battlegrounds Twitter account.

This announcement follows another exciting piece of news regarding the release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on the Xbox One. The game is being developed to support the 4K performance of the new Xbox One X, and is project to be available by 2018.
