Pillars of Eternity is Coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4

The hit RPG experience is coming to consoles this August.

Paradox Interactive is giving isometric RPG fans who missed out on the original PC launch of its hit game Pillars of Eternity a chance to play it from the comfort of their couch thanks to an upcoming console release.

The console version of Pillars of Eternity, a game which takes its cues from classic RPG titles like Baldur’s Gate, Planescape: Torment, and Icewind Dale, will be called Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition.

True to its name, the Complete Edition will come with both the expansive core game and its two-part DLC expansion, The White March.

Between the base game and the expansion, Pillars of Eternity boasts over 100 hours of content set in an original fantasy world and featuring classic gameplay features like party management, in-depth character customization, multiple story endings, and more.

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition will officially launch on August 29 at a $49.99 price point. A full-fledged sequel, titled Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, is slated to launch for PC sometime next year.
