It’s been more than a little quiet on the Telltale front as of late, but now the studio has finally broken its silence and revealed its plans for the remainder of 2017 as well as 2018, plans which include new seasons for Batman, The Walking Dead, and The Wolf Among Us. In a new “Summer 2017 Update” video, Telltale offered a sneak peek at its next three major projects.
First, Batman: The Telltale Series will be getting a second season titled ‘The Enemy Within.” The first episode of The Enemy Within will be titled “The Enigma” (pretty obvious hint for you Riddler fans out there) and will officially launch on August 8th.
As for The Walking Dead, the upcoming fourth season will be its last (it will actually be called Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season) and will once again focus on beloved protagonist Clementine as she sets out on one final journey.
Finally, after being hounded by fans for the past three years, Telltale has caved and decided to make a second season of The Wolf Among Us, continuing the trials and tribulations of Bigby the Wolf and the other denizens of the Fables universe. Both The Walking Dead: The Final Season and The Wolf Among Us season 2 are slated to launch in 2018.
