Divinity: Original Sin 2 Sells Over 500,000 Copies

The game even managed to bump PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds down a notch on Steam's Top Sellers list.

Larian Studios has a lot to celebrate right now, as their title “Divinity: Original Sin 2” is currently making some impressive waves on Steam. In fact, less than a day after leaving Early Access behind on Steam, Divinity: Original Sin 2 managed to knock PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds off the #1 spot on Steam’s Top Sellers list.

This is thanks, in part, to Divinity: Original Sin 2 selling almost 500,000 copies following its Steam Early Access Release. Additionally, Divinity: Original Sin 2 found itself pulling in 85,000 concurrent players this past weekend, making it one of Steam’s top-played games. In comparison, the game’s predecessor took nearly three months to come close to Divinity: Original Sin 2’s success.

A full congratulations are in order to Larian Studios. We hope Divinity: Original Sin 2 continues to grow over the next coming weeks.
