CD Projekt are working on fixes for a small number of crashes happening after players installed the PlayStation 4 Pro’s latest Witcher 3 patch.
The 1.50 patch and subsequent 1.51 hotfix introduced 4K and HDR upgrades to the RPG, but some users were reporting crashes making the game unplayable on new consoles.
Concern was further provoked after an internal memo leaked from CD Projekt in which the developers couldn’t fix the problem.
The Polish company has now clarified the situation to Eurogamer in a statement over email: “"This response was simply a miscommunication on our end. We are aware of the issues some users have been experiencing following the PS4 Pro Patch and we are looking into addressing those as soon as possible."
