Rocket League Zooms Over to Nintendo Switch in November

Gamers will soon be able to experience the unique thrill of Rocket League on the Nintendo Switch.

Rocket League by developer Psyonix is getting a Nintendo Switch release. On November 14th, Rocket League fans will be able to purchase the game on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $19.99 (USD). The game will include features, upgrades, and content available on other platforms in addition to supporting Rocket League’s wide variety of play modes.

Not only will you get the full Rocket League experience, the Nintendo Switch release also includes exclusive Battle-Cars and Customization items as special unlockables. This means that players will be able to take their love of Rocket League with them wherever they go, all while facing zero limitations when it comes to gameplay.

For those unfamiliar with Rocket League, the game is a physics based multiplayer game that puts a new spin on both soccer and racing. In Rocket League, players control booster-rigged vehicles (reminiscent of RC cars) and use them to knock around giant soccer balls. There are a variety of game modes and stadiums, which helps spice up Rocket League’s main premise.

The game is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 with competitive cross-play supported between Xbox One and PS4. In only a few short weeks, the Nintendo Switch will join the list of platforms upon which Rocket League is supported. Are you looking forward to playing Rocket League on the Nintendo Switch?
