What Remains of Edith Finch Gets Vinyl Soundtrack and Limited Physical Release

The What Remains of Edith Finch physical edition and vinyl soundtrack are now available for pre-order.

Although physical indie game releases are uncommon these days, some developers have managed to offer their games in physical formats, even if only for a limited run. Giant Sparrow’s What Remains of Edith Finch is among the latest indie games to get the hard copy treatment, receiving both a physical version of the game as well as a vinyl record of the game’s soundtrack.

The team at iam8bit has opened up pre-orders for physical versions of the critically acclaimed narrative adventure What Remains of Edith Finch, exclusively for PlayStation 4. The Physical Edition costs $29.99 and comes with a region-free disc copy of What Remains of Edith Finch, along with reversible cover art. Additionally, the What Remains of Edith Finch Vinyl Soundtrack is also available for pre-order for $28.

What Remains of Edith Finch is a strange narrative adventure that takes players through a series of story vignettes. Players take control of Edith as she explores the Finch house to uncover her mysterious family history. What Remains of Edith Finch has been nominated for a number of categories in The Game Awards this year, including Best Independent Game, Best Narrative, and Games for Impact.
