How to Get and Use Bandages in Xbox One Version of PUBG
If you’ve been playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One, you may find yourself wondering how to get and use bandages. While there are a wide variety of important items to pick up in PUBG, one that you simply cannot go without are bandages.
Should you take damage, bandages are a great way to heal yourself up and improve your odds at winning. To help you prepare for your next PUBG match, we put together a quick guide on how to get and use bandages in the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds!
How to Get Bandages in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
First, it’s important to know how to get bandages in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Like every item you acquire in PUBG, bandages have to be scavenged off the ground.
After you find an ideal spot to land on the map, you’ll want to begin the process of scavenging for items. A great place to look for items is inside buildings, although the more buildings in an area, the more likely you are to run into another player.
As such, you’ll want to choose your landing location wisely. Also keep in mind that if you want to interact with items you find, you’ll need to use the X button on your Xbox One controller.
While scavenging, be sure to pick up weapons, ammo, a backpack, armor, and (of course) bandages. The more bandages you hold, the more health you can restore. With that out of the way, the only question remaining is how to use bandages in PUBG.
How to Use Bandages in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
To use bandages in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, you’ll want to open up your inventory by holding the settings button on your Xbox One controller. Then, select the bandages option by pressing the “A” button. Continue to hold “A” to use your bandages.
Note that you’ll want to find a safe place to do this, as using bandages will render you vulnerable to attacks. If you stop using the bandage before the action has completed (to shoot an enemy, for instance), you’ll need to restart and repeat the process all over again in order to successfully use your bandages to heal.
Because bandages heal you over time rather than instantly (like with med kits) you’ll want to avoid spamming the action button. Instead, play it safe and wait until the healing process has finished before considering using another bandage.
Keep in mind, though, that bandages will only heal you up to 75% of your health, at which point you’ll be unable to use them until your health drops below the 75% threshold.
And that’s all there is to it. What’s your preferred strategy for using bandages and med kits in PUBG? Let us know in the comments below!
