Black Desert Online’s free play weekend is currently underway and will end on January 28 at 1:00 pm PST. This weekend also marks the debut of the ocean boss Vell, a vicious sea monster that existing players can look forward to battling for the first time. Those who wish to face the Vell must travel to the Margoria Sea on Sunday, January 28 at noon PST to encounter the kraken-like creature.
