Sniper Shootout Mode is Now Live in Fortnite Battle Royale

The limited-time Sniper Shootout mode is available now in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Epic Games has announced a brand new limited-time game mode for Fortnite Battle Royale called Sniper Shootout. The temporary game mode went live earlier today and will be available until Friday, February 2 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

As the name suggests, the Sniper Shootout limited-time game mode in Fortnite Battle Royale is all about sniping your opponents. Players are restricted to using sniper rifles as their primary weapon, as well as revolvers for close range encounters. Besides grenades, all consumable items are available as well, including the legendary Bush.

These temporary game modes are a great way to change up the gameplay in Fortnite Battle Royale while allowing the developers to test some new mechanics. Some of the previous limited-time game modes we’ve seen in the past included 50v50 mode as well as a high explosives event that limited players to using rocket launchers and grenades only.

Let us know what you think of Sniper Shootout in the comments below. Now that Epic is pulling the plug on Paragon, players can expect a sharper focus on the development of Fortnite Battle Royale in the coming months.
