The Final Station Has Just Arrived on Nintendo Switch

Journey through a post-apocalyptic world as a train conductor in The Last Station.

The retro 2D train survival game The Final Station is out now for Nintendo Switch users in North America, according to an announcement today by publisher tinyBuild. Originally released in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, The Final Station is now available in portable form. Switch users in Europe will have to wait a few more days to play The Final Station on February 27.

The Final Station is a survival adventure game that takes place in a Soviet-inspired, post-apocalyptic setting. Created by the Russian two-man indie game studio Do My Best Games, The Final Station puts players in the role of a train conductor who must shuttle survivors through an infected wasteland.

Across five chapters, players must scavenge for supplies, pick up survivors, and maintain their locomotive, all while fending off infected hordes. With such scarce resources, sometimes you’ll have to send survivors to an untimely fate for the sake of looting their bodies and staying alive yourself. Players must gather resources to upgrade weapons and craft valuable items to aid in survival.

The Final Station is available now in the Nintendo eShop for $19.99. The Switch version features both the full game as well as The Only Trailor DLC. You can check out the pixelated post-apocalyptic action in the Switch launch trailer above. Head over to our Nintendo Switch roundup to find out what else is new on Nintendo Switch this week
