The Swords of Ditto Debuts on PS4 and PC in April

Embark on Zelda-like adventures and create your legacy in The Swords of Ditto next month.

The colorful action RPG The Swords of Ditto will awaken next month on PlayStation 4 and PC, according to an announcement today from independent developer Onebitbeyond and publisher Devolver Digital. Fans anxious to face the evil Mormo can mark their calendars for April 24.

In The Swords of Ditto, players awaken as a chosen hero who must save their world from dark forces. In a style reminiscent of the Legend of Zelda, players must make their way through challenging dungeons by solving puzzles and defeating the foes that await inside in order to reach the evil Mormo.

The world is constantly changing in The Swords of Ditto. A new hero emerges every 100 years, following in the footsteps of their predecessor to defeat evil and save their village. The only constant entity in this world is your legendary sword, which gets more powerful with every adventure.

As you make their way through each dungeon in The Swords of Ditto, your story gets slowly etched into legend. Your actions, triumphs, and failures leave a heroic legacy that impacts future generations of heroes. For example, finding certain weapons or loot during one adventure will have implications for the heroes you play in future adventures.

The Swords of Ditto also supports solo and co-op play, which means you can crawl through dungeons and solve puzzles with a friend, or battle Mormo's evil forces on your own. When one of you falls during a co-op adventure, an adorable “revival hug” is all it takes to lift your spirits and get you back on track.

The more adventures you go on in The Swords of Ditto, the more impact you have on your village’s future. Your journey is comprised of a series of mini-adventures, all culminating into one epic legend full of discovery and revelation. Check out the gameplay trailer above to see what the game has in store. Prepare for heroic battles and a unique adventure when The Swords of Ditto launches for PS4 and PC on April 24.
