As with any big expansion, the Warmind DLC for Destiny 2 introduces new mechanics to the game that players will need to learn. How to get Rasputin Armory Codes
You’ll typically find the Requires Armory Code hatches close to the spots where public events or Escalation Protocols take place. The hatches will often activate during these events too, so keep an eye out for them when you’re taking part. If you want to open them you’ll need to net yourself a Rasputin Armory Code first.
Rasputin Armory Codes can be earned as a drop from public events on Mars. This seems a tad counterintuitive as it means you’ll need to grind through the events the codes are designed to assist with before you can use them. It’s certainly not a system that favors newbies but hey, that’s just the way this Martian world works, kiddo. If that doesn’t sound like your style, you can also get Rasputin Armory Codes by beating yellow-bar bosses across Mars (the type that drop a chest from the sky once you kill them). Put simply, earning the codes is a case of exploring Mars and getting involved with the events and bosses you discover.

Once you’ve got yourself a code, the easiest way to spend it is to start up an Escalation Protocol. The hatches will come online during this, and you’ll then be able to activate them with a code to gain the Valkyrie weapon. This unique item may only work for a limited time, but it’s also an absolute beast, dealing massive damage to help you and your fireteam reach the next stage of the event.
