Co-op sci-fi shooter Earthfall lands in July

E.T. go home.

You'll be able to spend this summer teaming up with friends and defend the planet from rampaging alien monsters, with co-operative shooter Earthfall due to launch on July 13. The game is currently in Early Access on PC, but will also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when it fully launches in a few months time.

Openly acknowledging its debt to Left 4 Dead, the game casts you as one of four unique survivors tasked with resisting an alien invasion. You'll be able to use 3D printing to produce the weaponry you need, as well as building barricades and setting up remote turrets. The game features two story campaigns, spread across ten different scenarios.

The game comes from Seattle indie studio Holospark, with Gearbox helping out on the publishing side. The standard digital version of the game will cost $29.99, or you can spend an extra ten bucks and get a physical copy with bonus costumes and weapon skins for $39.99. The Early Access version currently costs just $15 on Steam.
