Fortnite - How to Get V-Bucks

Learn the best way to earn more V-Bucks in Fortnite.

The latest craze sweeping the gaming world is Fortnite, a tower-defence, zombie horde game with a bit of battle royale thrown in for good measure. One of the dominant currencies in Fortnite are Vbucks, and these can be quite pesky to amass. If you play your cards right, and do certain activities, there are ways to get more of these V-bucks to spend.

How to Get More V-Bucks

V-Bucks can be earned through a myriad of ways, but to guarantee you receive some, simply log in every day and collect your Daily Reward. The Daily Reward has a chance of giving you V-Bucks, so if you don’t have time to play, at least boot up the game to quickly try your luck.

Before we dive into the free methods of earning V-Bucks, we have to cover the fact that Fortnite offers microtransactions. By spending your hard-earned cash, you can purchase increasing amounts of Vbucks – the more you spend, the more bonus Vbucks you receive.

  • 1000 V-Bucks - $9.99
  • 2500(+300 Bonus) V-Bucks - $24.99
  • 6000(+1500 Bonus) V-Bucks - $59.99
  • 10000(+3500 Bonus) - $99.99

Another means of getting Vbucks is to focus on completing quests. With dozens of quests to play and finish, your odds of being rewarded with Vbucks is fairly high. Even if you don’t manage to earn any, at least you’ll be increasing your supply of Schematics.

Finally, whenever you add Heroes, Survivors, Schematics, and other items to your Collection Book, you will receive experience that goes towards leveling up said book. When your Collection Book levels up, you will be rewarded with loot, which has the chance of being V-bucks.

While the only means of getting V-bucks outside of spending money is based purely on luck, by trying all these methods you should find your collection of V-bucks steadily increasing as you play Fortnite.
