Bethesda unveils Doom Eternal at E3 2018

A sequel to Doom is in the works.

At Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference, an exciting announcement was made: Doom is getting a sequel. That's right, Doom Eternal is an upcoming sequel to doom. While not much is currently known about Doom Eternal outside the preview trailer that was shown, it's nevertheless awesome news for Doom fans. Additionally, more information about Doom Eternal will reportedly be delivered at this year's QuakeCon in August. 

Bethesda has also confirmed that legendary soundtrack composer Mick Gordan will be returning to produce more thumping metal tunes for the game. If you haven't heard his soundtrack to Doom 2016, you owe your ears a treat.
