Best German Tank Lines in World of Tanks

Picking a tank line in World of Tanks can be tricky, so here are the best German tank lines!

German Tank Destroyer Tank Line

At Tier 5, the Pz.Sfl IVc has some ridiculous gun elevations, rivalling that of an SPG.

German Tank Destroyer lines truly take advantage of the German accuracy while utilizing some extremely powerful weaponry. There’s nothing like sniping an enemy tank from across the map with a shot that will knock them out.

With two Tank Destroyer lines in its tech tree, the German nation offers two thrilling experiences. Starting at Tier 4, the Marder 38 T introduces you to the split which decides what Tier 10 TD you will end with. The Grille 15 or the Jagdpanzer E 100 are the two final TDs, but we’ll be focusing on the Grille 15 line.

At Tier 5, the Pz.Sfl IVc boasts fantastic traversal speeds, allowing it to get out of hairy situations with ease. Amazingly, this TD offers some of the best gun elevation values in the game, capable of aiming up at enemies regardless of their height. With its 88mm gun, the Pz.Sfl IVc can decimate opponents with ease.

You'll be able to shoot the cupola's hatch off an active scout with the accuracy of the Grille 15.

Jumping to Tier 8, the Rhm.-Borsig Waffentrager, a Tank Destroyer with excellent camouflage values and a traversable turret. This TD has extremely good accuracy, aim times, and damage output of any similarly-tiered TDs. Just be careful, the tank has virtually no armor (20/10/8). While at Tier 8 you should know how camouflage works in World of Tanks, but if you don’t, brush up on your skills to help your chances of survival.

Rounding off the German Tank Destroyer line is the Grille 15. This Tier 10 Tank Destroyer has laser-like accuracy and speedy aim times. Once you fire a shell, it will hit its target almost immediately and dish out a phenomenal amount of damage. AP rounds boast 279mm of penetration and 750 alpha damage, so prepare to blow the enemy out of the water.
