World of Tanks Kris Kringle Clash Tournament Announced

Make Santa proud by blowing up tanks in his honor.

Wargaming recently announced a major World of Tanks tournament that is scheduled to take place next month. As of right now, interested players can register for the Kris Kringle Clash tournament which is being hosted in partnership with game peripherals manufacturer Corsair.

The official tournament page for the Kris Kringle Clash has the full details:

“The Kris Kringle Clash is a multi-day tournament running from December 5th through December 18th. Teams of five will fight their way through three days of group stage, with the top 64 teams moving on to one of two 32-team single elimination playoff brackets! The winner of each playoff will face off in a special Champion vs. Champion round, with the ultimate champion walking away with some cool special prizes!”

Appropriately enough, three different snow-themed maps will be featured during the tournament with specific maps including Erlenberg, Winter Himmelsdof, and Winterberg. Players can use any tank they want as long as it’s tier VI or lower.

All members of the winning team will receive a Corsair RGB keyboard. Additionally, in-game gold prizes of varying amounts will be awarded to all teams who manage to place within the tournament.
