Shipsmas has come early for World of Warships players thanks to a new series of in-game bonuses which are available right now.
First, Wargaming is slashing the in-game credit prices for all tier II –V regular ships by 50 percent, making this a great time to fill out your ship roster if there are any which have caught your eye. Sadly, it doesn’t look like there are any discounts on Premium ships for now. Nevertheless, we feel that Wargaming may have a few additional discounts planned for the month of December—so stay tuned!
If you’d rather earn than spend, there’s also a new in-game missions which is appropriately titled “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Shipsmas.” The mission—which is repeatable—awards a bonus of 250 XP for finishing in the top three XP earners on your team in any random or co-op battle while piloting a tier IV or greater ship. Sure, it’s not much, but if you’re already finishing in the top XP earners already, it can certainly help you ascend through the ranks more quickly.
Both the 50 percent discount and the Shipsmas mission are available between now and December 2nd (this upcoming Friday), so be sure to hop in and take advantage while you can.
