World of Tanks Commercial Too Hot for Super Bowl 51?

It would seem Wargaming failed to get this one up.

With Super Bowl 51 going down between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, companies are scrambling to get their ads squeezed into any holes remaining in the schedule. You might think who gets what ad slot is determined well in advance, but there’s always the chance for an audible.

This year, Wargaming tossed their name in the hat with a World of Tanks themed ad that IGN posted to their Twitter account. The video shows a man and woman in a hot tub, and the man removing a fictional product called “Stiffedra” from his robe pocket. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out it’s a bottle of pills that can be used to… uh… enhance one’s performance off the battlefield.

Something tells us there’s more to this than meets the eye, but what do you think? Is this World of Tanks video too racy for Super Bowl 51?

Update: The video is now on the World of Tanks YouTube page.
