Watch an Extended Version of the Nintendo Switch Super Bowl Ad

A comprehensive look at what you can do with the upcoming console.

During this year’s Super Bowl, Nintendo aired a new (albeit brief) commercial spot for its upcoming Switch console. If you want to see an extended version of the same commercial, we’ve got you covered!

The ad Nintendo showed during the Super Bowl was pretty short and kept its focus on one game: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you happened to catch the commercial and thought it didn’t give proper justice to what Nintendo is hoping to accomplish with the Switch, the extended version below may be more along the lines of what you’re looking for.

The “extended cut” is nearly two minutes long and in addition to showing off the various ways one can play the Switch console, it features gameplay from a variety of titles including the previously mentioned Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Arms, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and more.

If seeing the new ad made a believer out of you, the Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3rd, giving you plenty of time to pre-order the console and whichever games look appealing to you.

Our only advice is that if you’re planning on buying a lot of games you may want to get physical copies whenever possible, as the Switch’s memory limits could be problematic if you want to have multiple digital games installed at once.
