With the release of the 9.17.1 update for World of Tanks right around the corner, Wargaming has decided to offer an advanced sneak preview of the update’s revamped vehicle comparison, vehicle configuration, and technical display features.
According to a new post on the World of Tanks website, the vehicle comparison feature introduced back in update 9.16 is getting an overhaul in update 9.17.1. Once the update is live, players will be able to use new performance-based parameters to more accurately compare different tanks such as camouflage, equipment, crew skills, perks, and ammo.
Players will also be able to use the recently tweaked vehicle configuration list to see at-a-glance how a vehicle performs when equipped with its stock configuration, a custom-built configuration, or the vehicle’s top configuration based on your current mods and equipment.
Additionally, the technical characteristics display will receive some simplification changes in 9.17.1 such as showing clearer icons and bonus numbers for one-time-cost equipment pieces.
