5 Maps We Want Brought Back to World of Tanks

These maps were taken from us too soon, and now we want them brought back to World of Tanks!

Pearl River

As far as maps go, Pearl River was one of the greatest and one we definitely want to see returned to World of Tanks. With various routes, great lines of sight, and a gorgeous environment, we would love to play one more round here.

Little bridges, small towns, tiny valleys; this Asia-themed map was a relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you were crushing through rice paddies in a Heavy or zipping around the curving roads as a Light tank, Pearl River offered each tanker an option.

There were countless places where tankers could engage in combat, with some of the best battles stemming from knowing when to flank. Tank destroyers that perched up on the southern side of the map could have a relaxing day of fishing as they reeled in one kill after another.

What made Pear River so enjoyable was the numerous routes one could take across the map. Don’t like the look of this path? Take another one. Getting shot at from one side of a track? Cut across a field. Unfortunately for Pearl River, there doesn't seem to be an alternate route out of retirement. Despite this, we would love another opportunity to explore the Pearl River map.
