Gil Brodie is a human male that is one of many romance options in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Gil can only be romanced by the male Ryder, just be careful because early on, if you choose to see his vitals during a game, it will negatively affect your chances of romancing him later.

How to Romance Gil Brodie

Romancing Gil Brodie in Mass Effect: Andromeda is a fairly straightforward task as he is not one of the characters you can recruit as your squadmates.

Step 1: Romancing Gil Brodie

Begin romancing Gil in Mass Effect: Andromeda by talking with him in the Tempest’s Engineering section and respond with the dialogue option: “I’ll do more than show up.”

Step 2: After Visiting Aya

Once you make it to Aya, speak with Gil in Engineering to progress your romance relationship with him. You can respond with the dialogue option: “And now what?”

Step 3: Complete A Trail of Hope

After finishing the Priority Ops mission, A Trail of Hope, speak with him in Engineering and respond with: “Slow down, big guy.”

Step 4: Complete Hunting the Archon

Finish the Priority Ops mission, Hunting the Archon, and return to the Tempest. Check your emails and read the ones from Gil, then find Gil on Prodromos. At this point in romancing Gil, you will be given the option to commit to him.

Step 5: Romancing Gil Brodie

The final step in romancing Gil Brodie in Mass Effect: Andromeda is to speak with him in Engineering aboard the Tempest and then again in the Pathfinder’s  Quarters.

Romancing Gil Brodie is extremely simple, especially when compared to romancing Cora Harper or romancing Peebee. Due to its simplicity, you will have a better time at unlocking the Matchmaker Achievement or Trophy and can focus on more learning how to kill Architects.
