Rounding off our list of underrated Premium tanks in World of Tanks is the T-34-3, a Chinese Tier 8 Medium tank that is currently sitting dead last on noobmeter’s rating, so you know it’s going to be underrated.

The T-34-3 suffers from poor gun depression and dispersion, coming in at 0.46. It also has a lengthy reload time, making it difficult to engage in combat. Instead of APCR rounds, its Premium ammo is HEAT, meaning no extra penetration in times of need. These are quite devastating for a Medium tank, as it needs faster reload times and decent penetration values.

However, if you can look past these flaws, you’ll find that the T-34-3 can be an enjoyable Premium tank. The main gun offers 390 alpha damage, which allows you to knock enemies out of the park. Its turret armor is impressively thick, coming in at 190mm at the front and featuring rounded armor, the T-34-3 is well-equipped when it comes to bouncing off shells.

Though it suffers from poor penetration, the T-34-3 receives Preferential Matchmaking, limiting it to a max of Tier 9 battles. While you’ll still struggle to penetrate higher tiers front-on, at least you won’t be seeing any indomitable Tier 10 vehicles. When it’s top tier, the T-34-3 is good for some fun—just don’t get caught out while you’re reloading.

It can be controversial to discuss underperforming and underrated tanks, as sometimes all the flaws and negatives can get in the way of appreciation. Though, it can be worthwhile taking a second look at some Premium vehicles to see if there are hidden benefits in the roughness.

What do you think of the list, do you think any of these tanks are too bad to be considered underrated? What about tanks we might have missed, let me know in the comments any Premium vehicles you don’t see enough on the battlefield!
