A Blending Of All Three Eras
DICE will go beyond the story campaign when it comes to tapping all three core eras of Star Wars history. The game’s multiplayer component will also feature vehicles, ground troops, and heroes from all three eras. This means it’s entirely possible for players to get embroiled in epic 40-player clashes where Rey crosses lightsaber blades with Darth Maul, while the Millennium Falcon swoops overhead and rains laser fire down on Federation trooper droids.
Just how many different iconic heroes and vehicles will be included has yet to be revealed. Despite this, Star Wars Battlefront 2 will feature a deep roster at launch, one which will likely be expanded over time thanks to DLC. However, players may be in for a bit of a surprise when it comes to how they’ll acquire DLC.
