Prey - How to Get Unlimited Neuromods

Learn how to make unlimited Neuromods in Prey.

This guide will show you how to get unlimited Neuromods in Prey. One of the items you will need to increase your power and unlock new abilities are Neuromods, little packages with needles. These can be difficult to find, but there is a way you can make them yourself – so long as you have the materials and the Neuromod Fabrication Plan.

How to Get Unlimited Neuromods

You can get as many Neuromods in Prey as you want, so long as you have the resources!

In order to get unlimited Neuromods in Prey, you will first need to get your hands on the Neuromod Fabrication Plan. The Neuromod Fabrication Plan is located on Level 4 of the Neuromod Division, in the Fabrication section of Talos I. It can be a bit complicated finding the Neuromod Fabrication Plan, so we’re going to go through the process step-by-step.

Executive Office – Talos I Lobby

Head into the Executive Office (the rooms just before Morgan's huge office) in the Talos I Lobby and read the emails on Bianca Goodwin’s workstation. The email you need to read is titled, “Volunteer Attitude” from John Haskins. Within this email is one of the many door codes in Prey. It’s a randomized number, so you will actually need to collect it.

The next step to finding the Neuromod Fabrication Plan in Prey is to head back to the Neuromod Division, this is the area you find the GLOO Cannon, get your first Neuromod, and also the area where you can find the Disruptor Stun Gun.

If you’re in the Talos I Lobby and not sure how to get to the Neuromod Division, look for the curving set of stairs near the huge glass observation area on the lower level.

This door can only be unlocked if you visit Bianca Goodwin's desk in the Executive Offices.

Once you pass through the main door and into the Neuromod Division, use the GLOO Cannon to make steps up to the second floor if you haven’t already. Head to the door labelled “Volunteer Quarters” and use the keycode you read in Bianca Goodwin’s emails to unlock it.

The area inside has the power switched off, so be sure to use your torch. Turn left and enter the room labelled, “Authorized Personnel Only”. Behind the desk is a Maintenance Access Panel, go through this panel to access the next area.

Through the hole in the wall are Corrupted machines, one of which is gigantic - be careful.

After passing through the Maintenance Access Panel you will need to climb a series of boxes to reach another tunnel. Walk along this tunnel until you come across the large rectangular hole in the wall. The next room is called, "Fabrication", go through the door and prepare for a fight.

Fabrication – Neuromod Division

You should now be standing in the Fabrication section of the Neuromod Division, on Level 4. This is the area where you will find the Neuromod Fabrication Plan that will let you create unlimited Neuromods in Prey.

After killing the enemies, jump down and loot the body on the floor. You will find the keycard you need to unlock Graves' office.

In this area you will find several enemies of varying difficulties, so it is a good idea to come with a lot of weapons, such a Shotgun or the Q-Beam. Take your time killing the enemies, and when it’s safe, jump down to the lower floor and look for the body on the ground. Take the keycard from the body and use the elevator to reach the offices on the upper level.

Use the keycard on Graves' door, inside you'll find the item to help you make unlimited Neuromods.

Open the door to Halden Graves’ office using the keycard you found on the body. Turn right and head to the long table in the adjoining room.

On the table you will find the Neuromod Fabrication Plan. Now that you have the Neuromod Fabrication Plan, you can create unlimited Neuromods, so long as you have the resources. But first, you must go to Graves' computer and click "Cancel" to prevent the system from deleting the licence to manufacture Neuromods.

Neuromod Tip

While you’re still in Graves’ office, use his computer to unlock the Fabrication Doors. This will grant you access to the container in the Storage room, which is full of Exotic Material – a vital ingredient in making Neuromods. Alternatively, you can use Leverage II to pry open the doors.

To level up your abilities in Prey you will need a lot of Neuromods. It can be difficult to decide what you should level up first when you begin Prey, as there aren’t many Neuromods to be found. Though, if you read this guide, you should now know how to get unlimited Neuromods in Prey.
