Act 1
Act 1 in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is about Alm and his epic quest across Zofia. In this first Act, there are dozens of NPCs you can recruit.

| Forsyth | At the end of the Deliverance hideout. Speak with him to recruit him. | Soldier |
| Clive | At the end of the Deliverance hideout. Speak with him to recruit him. | Cavalier |
| Python | Speak with him at the start of the Deliverance hideout, then again once you reach the end of the hideout. | Archer |
Act 2
Act 2 in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia revolves around Celica. There are several recruitable NPCs you can have join your party in this act.

| Kamui | After recruiting Valbar, find Kamui in the Pirate Throne Interior Entrance. | Mercenary |
Act 3
In Act 3, you can control Alm and Celica, bringing the two previous storylines together. You will need to follow the correct path in order to recruit the characters in Fire Emblem Echoes.
