5 PS4 Games That Need Sequels

It would be a real shame if we never got to explore their unique worlds again.

DmC: Devil May Cry

Ninja Theory’s reboot of the classic Capcom Devil May Cry series technically didn’t start out as a PS4 title, but a remaster titled DmC: Definitive Edition did eventually come to Sony’s newer console so we felt it still deserved a spot on our list. Even though fans mercilessly mocked protagonist Dante’s new “emo” look and also took umbrage with the reboot’s more mature tone, DmC: Devil May Cry still managed to breathe some fresh life into the aging franchise both in terms of its story and gameplay.

Capcom hasn’t announced any concrete plans to continue the newly rebooted franchise, but it probably isn’t in any real rush to either considering the Definitive Edition only came out two years ago (and the base game came out only two years before that). Still, here’s hoping that a new Devil May Cry game is at least on Capcom’s radar, because it would be a crying shame if the publisher poured so much time and energy into the reboot only to have it be a one-hit wonder.
