Some Magikarp Jump events are triggered by finishing leagues or performing specific tasks, while others are simply Random Encounters with varying outcomes. Completing special events can be a good way to earn additional Coins, Diamonds, or items in Magikarp Jump. Special events and Random Encounters typically offer a reward of some sort, from additional Jump Power to restoring Training Points. However, some events have a negative outcome, causing  you to lose JP or even lose your Magikarp depending on your choices. Read the description for each event carefully to ensure you get the outcome you want during each event and encounter in Magikarp Jump.

How to Unlock

1 Old Rod Magikarp finds some fruit underwater. Decide whether or not to approach it. Ignoring the fruit grants Jump Power, while approaching the fruit can grant additional JP. However, unsuccessful attepts can result in losing Magikarp. Complete Fast League
2 Nugget A random person approaches to offer a nugget, which sells for coins scaled to your level. Randomly Occurs After Training & League Battles
3 Is it Treasure? Magikarp finds a Pokéball in the road. Ignoring it earns you JP. If you open it, there’s a chance of finding Coins or items. If you find a Voltorb, it will explode and cause you to lose your Magikarp. Randomly Occurs After Training
4 Our Eyes Met You're visited by a strange man, who asks you to look into his eyes. Refuse, and you receive additional JP. Agreeing to look into his eyes triggers a surprise battle that could result in either a loss of JP, or earning Support Candy.

Complete Heal League, or After Training

5 Out of Nowhere… Magikarp finds a tree with berries on it. Jump to get the berries for additional JP. Unsuccessful jumps cause a Pidgeotto to swoop down and take Magikarp away. Randomly Occurs After Training

Idol Riches Mayor Karp appears to congratulate you, rewarding you with a workout drink that restores Training Points. Complete Heavy League, or After Training
7 Massage a Karp Mayor Karp will visit and give your Magikarp a massage, granting bonus Jump Power or restoring a free Training Point. Randomly Occurs After Training & League Battles
8 Everyone's Hero A fan comes to speak to you and gush over Magikarp, granting bonus Jump Power or restoring a free Training Point. Randomly Occurs After Training & League Battles
9 Roddy Tackle Roddy Tackle appears, praising you as a trainer and giving you Coins. Randomly Occurs After League Battles
10 Unsinkable Magikarp A random fan approaches to offer encouragement after your loss, granting bonus Jump Power or restoring a free Training Point. Randomly Occurs After League Battles
11 Go, Magikarp, Go! Mr. Yoso will arrive with a message from a fan, that comes with additional Coins. Randomly Occurs After League Battles
12 All That Glitters Magikarp sees a sparkling object underwater. Ignoring the object gives you JP. Successfully investigating the object offers a chance to earn Coins or items, but Magikarp risks losing JP from the task. Randomly Occurs After Training
13 Jumping Lesson You are offered a chance to enter a special Jump Course. Declining the offer earns you JP. Accepting the offer and completing the course grants even more JP. If you accept and lose, you lose some of your gained JP. Complete the Fast League, or After League Battles
14 Mystery Drink A scientist approaches you with a new experimental drink. Decline the drink to earn JP. Accept the offer for a chance at more JP. Accept and lose, and you will lose some of your already gained JP. Complete the Great League, or After League Battles
15 Magikarp Adrift Magikarp gets separated from you, the trainer. Telling Magikarp to wait earns you Jump Power. Having Magikarp search for you may result in loss of JP. Randomly Occurs After Training & League Battles
16 Snoozing with Snorlax Snorlax blocks a path while sleeping. Magikarp goes to sleep on its stomach, regaining all Training Points. Complete the Quick League. Requires Having Snorlax Support After Training
17 Tag Battle? When a Pidgeotto attacks, Pikachu steps in to defend Magikarp, earning Jump Power. Complete the Friend League. Requires Having Pikachu Support After Training & League Battles
18 Showing Off Magikarp A fan comes by and requests to see Magikarp Jump. This restores one Training Point. Complete the Luxury League, or Randomly After League Battles
19 Sage Advice A veteran Magikarp appears, giving you a huge JP boost. Complete the Great League, or Randomly After League Battles
20 Trade for Gyarados A scientist approaches and asks to trade your Magikarp for Gyarados. The offer gets automatically declined, granting your Magikarp additional JP. Complete the Luxury League, or Randomly After Training
21 Lost Luvdisc A Luvdisc will appear and ask for your assistance, rewarding you with more Diamonds. Complete the Fast League, or Randomly After Training
22 Easygoing Slowpoke After Magikarp loses a match and goes to train, Slowpoke will restore one League Play. Complete the Heavy League, and Have Slowpoke as Support. Occurs After a Loss and Going to Training
23 Watch and Learn After training, you will be approached by a fan who commends you on your training. You’ll receive one Training Point. Complete the Fast League & After Training
24 Slacker Magikarp Magikarp requests to skip training. Scolding Magikarp can either gain or lose Jump Power. Choose not to scold it will grant JP. Randomly Occurs After Training
25 Macho Karp A scientist will request help with an experiment. Declining the offer grants Jump Power. Accept the offer, and you may earn JP, or lose Magikarp after Magikarp evolves into Gyarados. Complete the Great League, or Randomly After League Battles
26 Fan Mail Mayor Karp delivers a letter from a fan that contains a random item. Complete the Fast League, or Randomly After League Battles
27 A Challenge Mayor Karp delivers a letter from your next opponent, giving your Magikarp additional Jump Power. Complete the Great League, or Randomly After Training
28 Many Wise Words Mayor Karp appears and offers anecdotes about Magikarp. Complete the Great League
29 Reasearch Money After collecting various Magikarp patterns, successfully complete a League Battle. Mayor Karp will offer coins to help raise the different Magikarp. Complete Heal League & Randomly After League Battles (must collect various patterns)
30 Is It Feebas? Feebas will sometimes appear in your home pond. Tap it to unlock Jump Power. Randomly Occurs In Pond
31 Food Fever Manaphy will sometimes appear in your home pond. Tap it to start a food frenzy. Randomly Occurs In Pond
32 Be Gone! You and Magikarp encounter a ghost girl, who says “Be gone… intruders!” Leaving gives +1 To Magikarp's max level. Staying does nothing. Click TV at the pond and cancel the prompt, causing static. Repeat 7 times until the TV appearns normal, then train.
33 Hop, Skip & Whump! Continuously jumping out of the pond causes a Pidgeotto to swoop in and take your Magikarp. Jump repeatedly out of the home pond.
34 You're No Magikarp! When fishing for a new Magikarp, you fish up a Dratini. This grants x1 Skill Restore. Recast your fishing rod 5 times, tossing back Magikarp each time.
35 You Can Do It! Magikarp is on a losing streak, giving you three LP Restore items. Lose three times in a row.
36 Adios, Gyarados! Tap to break the Everstone and cause Magikarp to evolve into Gyarados at the next level up. You lose your Magikarp. Evolve Magikarp to Gyarados.
