Recently added in the They Shall Not Pass expansion, the Ribeyrolles 1918 is a top contender for one of the best guns in Battlefield 1. This Assault class automatic rifle can fire at 550-600 rounds per minute, making it slower than the Hellriegel but faster than the MP 18. Acting as a happy-medium between the two, the Ribeyrolles also offers more reserve ammo, capable of being reloaded 5 times before requiring a resupply.
What makes the Ribeyrolles 1918 such a worthy pick is its bipod that deploys when prone. Using this at key moments can effectively increase an Assault class' range, helping them take down straggling enemies before getting into the thick of the combat.
