7 Reasons the PS5 is Coming in 2018

Why Rockstar is the real winner if the PS5 drops in 2018.

The PS4 it Outdated

One of the developers for A Way Out, a game being developed for PC, PS4, Xbox One, spoke rather frankly about the PS4 in an interview with Engadget.

"You want the honest truth? This machine is not so strong as you think," Fares says, pointing to the PS4 running his game. "This is like a five-year-old PC. If consoles were as powerful as PCs are today, you would see all different games. Most of the work developers put out there is to make them work on consoles."

Personally, I find Fares’ take rather refreshing. Let’s stop spewing this garbage about how developers are still learning about the power and capabilities of the PS4. If anything, they’re doing their best to try and pull more out of something that has already reached its limit. That alone is enough reason to believe that Sony will be releasing a PS5 in 2018, instead of making developers create games on six, seven, and eight-year-old technology.
