T49
Despite being a late-game tank and one of the highest alpha damage Light tanks, the T49 can be a challenge for players experiencing it for the first time. This American Tier 9 Light has a few negatives that will take many first-time users by surprise.
After landing a devastating hit with its derp gun, the phenomenally slow reload time could spell disaster for a tanker who hasn’t planned their exit strategy. Being caught mid-reload means relying entirely on the T49’s poor armor and low health pool. While it is an extremely fun tank to play, it can be a short-lived ride if its weaknesses aren’t taken into consideration.

Even when an escape route is planned, the T49 suffers from poor acceleration and mobility, often leaving it with its “tyres spinning”. To add to this, the acceleration is almost a requirement given how close a tanker must get in order to hit a target with the 152mm gun.
The T49 is an excellent tank by anyone’s standards, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy one to master.
