Highest Alpha Damage Light Tanks – Tier 8
No matter what tank you’re driving, Tier 8 is where World of Tanks is considered to begin or at least where tanks truly come into their own. These Light tanks are some of the best Light tanks in terms of alpha damage, and will help any tanker achieve their LT goals.
LTTB
Back in the USSR tank line is the LTTB. With 180 alpha and 170 mm of penetration, this Light tank grants one of the highest alpha damages available in a Tier 8 LT.
HWK 12
A direct upgrade from the SP IC is the HWK 12, a German Light tank with an average alpha damage of 240 and 180 mm of penetration with every standard AP round.
WZ-132
Rounding off the Tier 8 Light tanks is the Chinese WZ-132, a Light tank that is one of the best active scouts in the game and a tank that finished in June with one of the highest win rates. These impressive claims to fame are due not only to its speed and camouflage, but to its 250 alpha damage and 189 mm of penetration.
