2. Elodie Yung Was Successful in France Before Coming Stateside
Yung was by not an unknown to the rest of the world by the time she made it in Hollywood, but America took a little longer to find out. Elodie made her acting debut as Jade Perrin in the French show La vie devant nous, which was a teenage drama about French high school kids doing high school kid stuff. We imagine it to be like an artsier version of Saved by the Bell, but with better food. Do not correct us if we are wrong.
Yung then went on to star in a few French parkour movies that we wish were on Netflix right now, before hitting it big in Hollywood with blockbusters like The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and GI Joe.
