Running vs Bayonet Charging
The bayonet charge is a very useful feature that was added in Battlefield 1, but it shouldn't be used to get from one place to another quickly. Of course, the bayonet charge is important for being able to get out of tricky situations, but using it all the time is not advised. Countless times you've probably witnessed team mates bayonet-charging from spawn in order to get to an objective as fast as possible, and you may even do it yourself. However, despite it seeming like it's faster than running, it actually isn't.
A YouTuber by the name of GY The Gaming Mastermind put together a simple video showing off the speeds of running versus bayonet charging. The video clearly shows that running is much faster than bayonet charging, as the bayonet charge has a small cooldown time. So remember, if you want to get from point A to point B as fast as possible, don't bayonet charge!
