5 Possible Conflicts to Set the Next Battlefield In

The Battlefield franchise needs to visit these famous moments from history.

The Battle of Gallipoli

The Battle of Gallipoli is one of the most iconic battles of World War 1 and is often considered to be the great awakening of the consciousness of Australia and New Zealand. Taking place during World War I, but an event often overlooked in gaming, the Gallipoli Campaign was the only major Ottoman victory and a devastating blow to Australia and New Zealand.

Gallipoli has one of the highest casualty counts, surpassing the Normandy landings, and would make for an unbelievable story for a Battlefield title. The landing on Gallipoli was a strategic mess, with confusion about where allies were landing or whether they were landing at all. For the men on the beach, the surrounding area was dense, with vision of the enemy locations extremely poor.

This setting would allow the Battlefield franchise to approach World War 1 from another perspective, and given the success of the last entry in the series, visiting more locations and events in WW1 would be phenomenal. This would even work as a potential single player DLC for Battlefield 1, something I'd be all in for.
