Finally, the Vietnam War is one conflict we absolutely need to see in the next Battlefield game. With the North supported by the Soviet Union and China, and the South supported by the United States, Australia, South Korea, and Thailand – to name a few – it would be one title that has unimaginable potential.

The lush rainforests, the heat, the beaches and the environment in general would make for breathtaking views, especially with the advancements made to the Frostbite engine.

More than just visual improves are the ample opportunities to tell heart-wrenching stories. DICE have proven themselves time and time again to be masters at creating gripping characters and narratives, and the horrific events during Vietnam would make for some truly memorable moments in gaming.

The Battlefield games have taken us to some magnificent locations and some terrifying moments in history. With the success of Battlefield 1, we’re wondering what period of time we’ll see next, but we certainly hope it’s Vietnam. What are some locations you want to see in Battlefield?
