Highest Win Rate Tanks from July

These tanks won more battle than they lost.

Highest Win Rate Tanks from July – Tier 10

Finally, we reach the best of the best, the clash of titans – Tier 10. The rule of thumb seems to once again be armor focused, so I hope you enjoy heavy tanks.

Kranvagn

Practically everything said about the Emil II applies for the Kranvagn – it’s a very similar tank (as is likely no surprise), and does everything the Emil II does but better. The Kranvagn is best when hull down with a hilariously strong best-in-game turret challenged only by the IS-7, but is otherwise an objectively worse AMX 50 B. It shares the same 120mm as the Emil II but with improved DPM, intraclip reload (your time between shells in the magazine), and gun handling.

A likely reason for the Kranvagn’s high win rate of 53.84% is the fact that it’s still quite a new addition to the game, typically meaning more experience players tend to own it as they have the free xp lying around or are simply more committed, though that’s not to say the Kranvagn isn’t strong within its own right.

Maus

If the metagame is armor focused, as has evidently been the case at higher tiers, it only makes sense for the King of armor to be up here. Recently buffed in patch 9.17.1, the Maus has durability like no other, with exceptional all-round armor protection and firepower that is certainly part of the upper echelon of Tier 10 Heavy Tanks, saying the Maus can brawl would be an insult to its ability.

After recently achieving my third Mark of Excellence on the Maus I can confirm it deserves to maintain its second place from last month with a 55.56% win rate.

WZ-111 5A

Sitting in first place regarding win rate throughout July for the highest tier in World of Tanks, is the newest addition to the in-game tech tree, the WZ-111 5A, at a ludicrous 59.20% win rate. Though, similar to the Kranvagn, I believe such a high win rate was possible due to the increased skill level of players who own the tank.

The WZ-111 5A is undoubtedly an excellent vehicle in its own right. If you like the WZ-111 1-4, you’ll love the 5A. If you don’t, you might still love the 5A considering its massively increased DPM, superior gun handling, and improved frontal and side gun depression at an impressive 7 degrees – unusually high for a Chinese tank.

I predict the WZ-111 5A will become a fan favorite for the foreseeable future and personally I can’t wait to get my hands on one. Now if only I wasn’t so lazy when it comes to grinds…

Personally I was surprised to see the T28 Concept and T95 make the list – in my experience I’ve found slow, turretless tank destroyers to be inflexible and therefore yield a lower win rate but here I was proven wrong. Did any tanks in this article surprise you, or were you surprised that a certain tank didn’t make the list?
