Highest View Range Tanks in World of Tanks

These tanks will see you before you see them.

Highest View Range Tanks – Tier 8

Tier 8 is often touted as “the place to be” in World of Tanks. Each armored vehicle has its own playstyle and is able to assist with the battle in some major way. While these tanks mightn’t be the highest alpha damage Light tanks, they do boast impressive view ranges.

Centurion I

The first Medium tank makes the list with the British Centurion I, a tank that belongs to one of the best British tank lines in World of Tanks. Offering a view range of 400m, the Centurion is able to observe the enemy well before they get within range to see its own movements. This view range is of utmost importance, as it needs to be able to judge enemy locations in order to avoid unfortunate encounters.

Caernarvon

A Heavy tank with one of the best view ranges of its tier is often unheard of, but the British (yet again) boast a vehicle that can seemingly do it all. Though its armor leaves much to be desired, it is able to take a hull down position and let its mantlet take a lot of the heat. However, in terms of view range, the Caernarvon offers 400m, which is further extended with the right equipment and skills.

HWK 12

With an extra 10 metres over the competition (410m), the HWK 12 is one German Light tank that is best used at-range to fully exploit this advantage. Furthermore, its HEAT rounds boast an incredible 250 mm of penetration – making them an excellent choice when you want to set an enemy tank on fire.
